Schemas

A schema is a named workflow that tells the AI exactly how to use Modula components to produce a specific type of output. When you ask your AI to build a lesson, a presentation, a documentary, or any other artifact, the corresponding schema activates automatically behind the scenes — the AI then follows its guidelines to structure content, choose components, and deliver a complete, ready-to-publish result.

Schemas eliminate guesswork: instead of making ad-hoc decisions about structure and component selection each time, the AI follows a tested recipe that consistently produces high-quality output.

How schemas work

  1. You type a natural-language request — “create a lesson on the water cycle”.
  2. The AI recognises the intent and calls the matching schema tool over MCP.
  3. The tool returns the schema definition: hard rules, structure guidelines, and editorial guidance.
  4. The AI follows the schema silently and delivers the finished artifact.

You never see the schema itself — only the output.
