Title editor
The Title editor lets you set or refine the opening metadata of a module — its title, an optional subtitle, and an optional abstract — before the AI writes the component markup.
How to invoke it
The title editor is typically called automatically when the AI begins assembling a module. You can also invoke it explicitly:
- “Set the module title”
- “Change the title and abstract”
- “Edit the module header”
The AI calls edit_title with a draft derived from your request and opens the widget.
Data fields
| Field | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
title | string | Yes | The main title of the module |
subtitle | string | No | A secondary title or tagline shown below the main title |
abstract | string | No | A short introductory paragraph (typically 2–3 sentences) summarising the module |
Tips
- Title and subtitle are short. A few words to a short sentence each — not a paragraph.
- Abstract is optional but valuable. It gives learners or readers a preview of what the module covers. Keep it under 50 words for best results.
- Subtitles work well for thematic framing. For example, a title of “The Solar System” paired with a subtitle of “A journey through our cosmic neighbourhood” adds context without lengthening the headline.
