Use cases

Interactive content, multiple different ways.

Real workflows from the audience we built Modula for. Each story names the tool, the SKILL, the components — and the outcome that mattered.

L&D Trainer

Train 200 employees on data-privacy compliance in four weeks.

The L&D lead opens Claude, uses the Video Lesson SKILL, and prompts for twelve interactive units with an explainer video, scenario exercises, and a quiz each. Two-week turnaround. Output exported to SCORM and uploaded to the corporate LMS.

Editorial Editor

Interactive appendices for a chemistry textbook that update every term.

The publisher's editor uses an Interactive Simulation SKILL inside their CMS to generate molecular visualisations, reaction simulations, and review questions for each chapter. Authors can regenerate without dev help; output stays accessible and themeable to the brand.

Independent Creator

A scrollable travel narrative of a month-long sailing journey.

The writer opens ChatGPT, uses the Map Scroller SKILL, and describes the route. A finished interactive piece with the GPS track, photo stops, and journal entries is published on their own site in under four hours. No developer involved.

Teacher (Playground)

An interactive lesson on the Etruscans for a mixed-ability class.

A history teacher uses the free Playground and the base Lesson SKILL in ChatGPT to assemble a lesson with a timeline, images, and a multiple-choice quiz. She projects it on the classroom display. No commercial use; the Playground covers her need entirely.

Editorial Developer

A scroll-driven longform investigation for a newsroom's SvelteKit site.

The frontend team pulls Modula components via MCP into an existing project, themes them to the publication's design system, and uses a custom SKILL for the narrative structure. One week of work instead of three. Components stay updated through Modula's release cycle.
