History

Blood Rose Records was originally conceived in 2014 as an indie anti-label. In the early years, it was the one-man passion project of John Alex (INoLonger) and worked for many now long-gone local bands organizing shows, recording live demos, and making artwork and merchandise.

The project began what would become a three year soft-hiatus in 2017 before finding new life working as a production studio, outsourcing recording to Robby Lewis' Crewhouse Studio. By 2023, Robby Lewis joined Blood Rose Records as a cofounder and helped restructure it as Modula.
